The PSOE reached an agreement with council unions guaranteeing job security for the municipal staff

Jose Bernal sign the Plan Stability with union representatives and notarized the next day December 27

The secretary general of the PSOE in Marbella and candidate for mayor, Jose Bernal, together with employment lawyer and councilman Daniel Perez, and Miguel Luna, deputy coordinator of the Group of Experts, held this morning in a meeting with union representatives of the City Marbella to close the Stability and Consolidation Plan Public Employment.

The agreement, which guarantees job security for the municipal staff has been well received by all the union representatives have agreed that after some minor modifications will be signed before a notary public on the 27th of December.

According to Bernal said the agreement includes that the PSOE, when you get into office in May 2011, start negotiations for the implementation of a collective agreement framework and socio-economic agreement whose scope is the entire staff.

Thus, revealed that "will gradually be equated and standardizing all economic conditions and labor officials, staff members and personnel from the OAL'sy societies."

He wanted to state that "fundamental and essential principle of collective bargaining will be respected with the legal representatives of the workers."

On the other hand, said that guaranteed the right to careers and internal promotion through selection processes to ensure compliance with the constitutional principles of equality, merit, advertising and capacity.

Personal indefinite permanent staff will

One aspect in which Bernal wanted more emphasis on is that the agreement provides that "is recognized as permanent staff with a permanent contract staff that comes from the old municipal corporations" and that this measure is based on the irregular Management Plan process, as recognized by recent decisions of the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia.

He highlighted the fact that it is proposed to the City of Marbella subrogation of all workers in township enterprises OAL'sy to be agreed, and thereby also ensure the rights and conditions agreed prior to such subrogation, as well as old.

This process, said Bernal, is feasible from an economic point of view since it removes all currently open judicial processes, which are giving rise to the City a very high cost, and because these measures are void outsourcing currently performed by the City Council, due to reorganization of the workplace.
